Internet Assignments
Access to and use of the resources of the Internet, specifically but not limited to the World Wide Web,
is assumed for all members of the class. Much of the lecture material resides only on the web sites
of Gerald Smith. Additional resources in the form of links to data, discussions, and images are also
found only on the Web. Competent use of the Web including sophisticated site surfing and use of
standard search engines is assumed as a working skill in the course. You must have web access and
you must complete certain web assignments on a daily basis.
